The reaction of Taylor Swift to Lena Dunham’s risqué joke at her private rehearsal dinner has been revealed, following reports that the jest divided a gathering of about 100 close friends.

Following the ceremony, Swift’s publicist issued a statement saying: “The ceremony joined both families together, officiated by their friend Adam Sandler.”
“Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor, and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man.”
The statement also highlighted that both the bride and groom donned ‘Christian Dior Haute Couture’ for the occasion.
“Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry,” the statement concluded.
Prior to their wedding day, the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner with 100 close friends and family, where various A-list celebrities allegedly delivered speeches to honor the couple.
Among the speakers was Lena Dunham, whose ‘outrageous’ joke reportedly had a polarizing effect on those present.
“American football is just straight guys reenacting gay p**n,” she reportedly quipped, eliciting both gasps and laughter from the attendees.
Despite the potentially offensive nature of the joke to some guests, the bride praised Dunham as a ‘genius’ following the bold speech.
