Taylor Swift’s Alleged Response to Lena Dunham’s Risqué Joke at Her Wedding

The reaction of Taylor Swift to Lena Dunham’s risqué joke at her private rehearsal dinner has been revealed, following reports that the jest divided a gathering of about 100 close friends.

Many have referred to it as the ‘royal wedding’ and fans continue to seek out every detail of the significant event.

While the celebrity couple reportedly had their 1000 attendees sign stringent NDAs, some details have surfaced for the public.

Following the ceremony, Swift’s publicist issued a statement saying: “The ceremony joined both families together, officiated by their friend Adam Sandler.”

“Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor, and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man.”

The statement also highlighted that both the bride and groom donned ‘Christian Dior Haute Couture’ for the occasion.

“Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry,” the statement concluded.

Prior to their wedding day, the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner with 100 close friends and family, where various A-list celebrities allegedly delivered speeches to honor the couple.

Among the speakers was Lena Dunham, whose ‘outrageous’ joke reportedly had a polarizing effect on those present.

“American football is just straight guys reenacting gay p**n,” she reportedly quipped, eliciting both gasps and laughter from the attendees.

Despite the potentially offensive nature of the joke to some guests, the bride praised Dunham as a ‘genius’ following the bold speech.

Swift and Dunham have maintained a close friendship for over a decade, with Swift even standing as a bridesmaid in Dunham’s 2021 wedding.

Those on the guest list for their wedding included ABC’s Good Morning America hosts, Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan.

Despite the wedding taking place at the expansive 820,000 square feet New York venue, Roberts confirmed that ‘it really was intimate’.

Stephanopoulos remarked: “It’s hard to imagine that a wedding that big, and with such stars could feel so personal, and so intimate.”

“What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate. And yes, literally everyone was there. I told Lotte many times it was like living in the internet, and AI would crack if it tried to render it.

“Anyway congratulations Taylor
