It’s official: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have married, and fans now know what the singer’s married name will be.
The couple exchanged vows on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Swift’s representative confirmed to the Associated Press that the wedding had taken place.
As the celebration continued, screens outside the venue displayed the message ‘JUST&T MARRIED’.
Many have wondered if Swift would change her name. The answer is not exactly, and perhaps not as expected by some fans.
There had been speculation that Swift might adopt Kelce’s surname privately while retaining ‘Taylor Swift’ professionally, due to her strong brand identity.

According to insiders, she sees sharing a surname with Kelce as a ‘meaningful step’, especially when thinking about future children. This distinction is expected to remain now that they are married.
Sources close to the couple have suggested they opted against hyphenating their surnames, feeling that sharing one surname entirely was ‘special’.
The black-tie event saw attendance from celebrities like Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Jason Sudeikis, singer Benson Boone, soccer star Abby Wambach, and NFL players Chris Jones and Cooper Kupp. Instead of a traditional bridal party, they chose a more personal approach.
Austin Swift, Taylor’s brother, served as her ‘Man of Honor’, while Travis’s brother and podcast co-host Jason Kelce was the best man.

Long-time friend Adam Sandler, known for starring alongside Kelce in “Happy Gilmore 2,” officiated the ceremony.
The main celebration on Friday followed a smaller gathering on Thursday evening, with around 1,000 guests in attendance.
To maintain privacy, no phones were permitted at either event for guests, vendors, or security teams.
The wedding featured custom Haute Couture outfits by Dior’s Jonathan Anderson, bespoke footwear from Christian Louboutin, and Cartier jewellery, as shared by Swift’s representative Tree Paine.
Swift and Kelce’s romance began in 2023 when Kelce tried to give her a friendship bracelet during her Eras Tour in Kansas City, which didn’t go as planned.
They went public with their relationship shortly after, and Kelce proposed in August 2025.
Swift humorously announced the engagement on Instagram, referring to themselves as the “English teacher” and the “gym teacher” getting married.
