Music enthusiasts are eagerly unraveling Jessie J’s latest track.
The artist is unveiling new music after a long hiatus, with her album Don’t Tease Me with a Good Time set to drop tomorrow (Friday, November 28).
One song in particular, ‘Threw It Away’, has already sparked considerable interest.
Earlier this week in London, Jessie J held an exclusive listening party where she shared this track with a select audience. Many believe the song hints at her past relationship with Channing Tatum, whom she dated intermittently from 2018 to 2020.
According to The Sun, the lyrics appear to touch on reasons behind their separation five years ago.

Lines such as “I put my heart out on the table, that’s when it got uncomfortable. But oh that karma is gonna come one day, ’cause I gave you my love and you threw it away” suggest deeper personal reflections.
Other parts of the song include: “Don’t you dare rewrite the story. I’m the beauty, you’re the beast.”
While Jessie doesn’t directly mention Tatum, she hints at letting listeners deduce the connections themselves.
The ‘Price Tag’ singer reportedly told attendees, “This next song I wrote in 2020 with Ryan Tedder, and you can figure out who I was dating.”
UNILAD has reached out to Tatum’s representative for any comments.

This new release follows a difficult period for Jessie J, who recently battled breast cancer. Over the summer, she revealed her diagnosis.
Having already undergone one surgery, another procedure is anticipated.
In August, she shared, “Some of you may know, some of you may not know, but I had breast cancer surgery 11 weeks ago today and the last show I did, I had no idea what was going to happen – and I’m still very much in the recovery process.”
A month later, she returned to the stage for her first performance after surgery, emphasizing the healing power of music.
“I don’t know about you guys, but for me, music is a healer,” Jessie J reflected. “Music is the thing that keeps me wanting to wake up in the morning and just makes me excited about life, and I’m grateful that I can make music that can give other people something that they might need on a hard day or a good day.”
