Many people have speculated about what lies beyond death… if anything at all.
One individual shared his vision during a near-death experience that took place over a coma lasting three days, during which he reportedly encountered Jesus.
These types of experiences often leave individuals profoundly affected as they attempt to reintegrate into their daily lives.
There are various ideas regarding why people on the brink of death might have these vivid visions and experiences.
Some suggest it could be the brain’s attempt to provide comfort in our final moments, perhaps by recalling particularly joyful times or by offering images of an anticipated afterlife.
For some, these encounters are seen as having a spiritual element.
Robert Marshall firmly believes in the spiritual aspect, recounting how he was ‘dead’ for three days in 2024.
During an appearance on the Next Level Soul Podcast, he clarified that his experience went beyond a ‘near-death experience’, stating, “I was dead for three days.”
Earlier that year, Robert had visited an outpatient emergency room because of a ‘very large mass on his neck that was swollen’.
“They did MRI, blood tests. I was having trouble breathing, that’s why I went there,” he shared.
In his book, 44 Hours in Heaven, Robert described experiencing ‘code blue’ three times.
The book’s description mentions this resulted from ‘drowning on his blood in his lungs, acute hypoxic respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest’.
During this time, Robert claimed he visited heaven and met Jesus.
His depiction of heaven included giant oak trees, vibrant flowers, and an overwhelming sensation of ‘peace and love’.
Upon meeting Jesus, Robert remembers asking to be ‘sent back’ to console his wife, as he ‘felt every bit of her pain’.
Jesus then conveyed a message to him before he regained consciousness, revived by the medical team.
Robert recounted Jesus saying: “When you first came before me, you asked if you could go back.”
He humorously noted, “I went ‘oh he did hear!’,” to which host Alex Ferrari responded: “I don’t think Jesus is hard of hearing.”
Continuing, Robert said: “He said ‘your brain has been destroyed’, obviously.”
Jesus further told him: “I could and would send you back with some caveats. I’ll send you back with a miracle that nobody could ever deny, not the doctors, not the nurses, not scientists, nobody could ever deny that I am God and I did this, and there’s no question that I’m alive, I’m real, heaven is real.”
Robert asserted that Jesus promised him a ‘new brain’ and assured him that he would ‘restore your entire memory’.
