World Cup final halftime show lineup announced with Justin Bieber as co-headliner for 11-minute spectacle

Justin Bieber is set to co-headline the inaugural World Cup final halftime show, as FIFA reveals a star-studded lineup of performers.

The 32-year-old artist will perform during the 11-minute show on July 19, although the competing teams for the final match have not yet been determined.

In an official release, Bieber, who is a father of one, expressed his excitement: “The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can.”

“I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world,” he added.

The halftime show will feature a co-headlining performance by Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, and BTS, with the lineup being curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

FIFA announced: “A FIFA World Cup first, the Halftime Show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a landmark initiative working to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and football for children around the world.”

The final of the tournament is slated to take place at MetLife Stadium, commonly referred to as the New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, with the game set to commence at 3pm ET.

Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen, remarked: “This is the single largest gathering of artists united for a cause since Live Aid, and it could well be the most-watched 11 minutes of broadcast music performance in history.”

“This is a moment that will bring the world together through music, hope, and action,” he continued.

The impressive lineup doesn’t end there.

Additional performances will feature Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus, a choir composed of elementary school students from Staten Island.

Bieber appears to be making a gradual comeback to the limelight, having headlined Coachella after a four-year hiatus from touring and performing.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino commented: “As the world unites for the most significant football match in history on Sunday, 19 July 2026 at the New York New Jersey Stadium, this groundbreaking spectacle, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will celebrate football, music and our shared values, ensuring a legacy that transcends the final whistle.”

According to TNT Sports, France is favored to win the tournament, with Argentina closely following.

Spain is also among the top contenders, while England rounds out the group of four leading favorites as per most betting platforms.
