Biohacker Byran Johnson responds to critics following incurable disease revelation

Bryan Johnson, the multimillionaire biohacker, recently made waves with the announcement of his incurable condition.

Known for investing up to $2 million annually in maintaining his health, Johnson disclosed that he has developed an autoimmune disease causing his stomach to self-destruct.

Typically making headlines for his unconventional medical experiments, such as rejuvenating his genitalia, Johnson now faces an unavoidable health challenge.

Sharing his story on social media, he revealed he is battling autoimmune gastritis (AIG), a condition affecting what he claims is only two to five percent of the population.

After departing from the tech industry, Johnson transitioned to become a prominent figure in the wellness sector, aiming to defy aging and, as he describes it, achieve immortality.

He shared a poignant message on his X account, which took a philosophical turn.

Johnson responded to critics who suggested he should “live a little,” asserting his refusal to engage in societal “death rituals.”

He argued that by opting out, people perceive it as an “insult and threat” that must be “attacked, discredited and mocked.”

He criticized celebrations like Thanksgiving, New Year’s Eve, Halloween, weddings, and cheat days, calling them “commercialized, camouflaged celebrations staged as group rituals to dull the shared death anxiety.”

He continued: “When I abstain from societal death rituals, I break the spell. The anesthesia only works if everyone does it together. One abstainer reveals to the room that they are drunk.”

Johnson concluded with: “I don’t intend to live a little. I intend to live more than any human who has yet lived and invite you to join me.”

Individuals who suffer from this condition know that symptoms aren’t always evident, but they can include:

Though it may sound uncomfortable, Johnson has subjected his reproductive system to various treatments aiming to restore its youthful condition. These include semen analysis, blood flow assessments, Botox injections, and shockwave therapy.

He claims these efforts have notably reduced his “erection age” significantly.

Alongside monitoring his own “erection data,” Johnson has controversially compared this data with his 19-year-old son’s statistics.

In 2023, Johnson gained viral attention by participating in what he called “the world’s first multigenerational plasma exchange” with his then-17-year-old son and 70-year-old father.

This involved removing a liter of Johnson’s blood, separating the plasma, and replacing it with an equivalent amount of his son’s plasma.

However, after observing “no benefits,” Johnson announced he had ceased “injecting my son’s blood.”

He has since transitioned to “total plasma exchange.”

Last year, Johnson documented his experience taking 5g of magic mushrooms, later admitting it left him “happy to be alive” and changed, though “probably not as you’d expect.”

He also recounted the effects of consuming 27mg of 5-MeO-DMT, a potent hallucinogenic, which left him “stunned beyond comprehension.”

Johnson recently disclosed his current morning routine, which spans four hours and 46 minutes.

“My morning routine is always evolving as we update protocols. This is what I’m experimenting with right now,” he noted on his website.
