Nara Smith has provided an update regarding her daughter, Whimsy Lou, following a disclosure made two days earlier about her cancer diagnosis at the age of two.
Earlier this week, the influencer gained overwhelming support after releasing a heartfelt video. In the video, she explained that she and her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, 28, discovered their daughter Whimsy Lou’s illness “late last year.”
In the initial disclosure, Smith, 24, chose not to disclose the specific type of cancer her daughter had been diagnosed with, nor her current condition.
After receiving support from fans, Smith has now turned to Instagram to share details of her daughter’s health journey following the cancer diagnosis.
The content creator posted a series of images, including one of her daughter adorned with gems on her head after undergoing hair removal due to treatment.
In her earlier post, Smith informed her followers that Whimsy Lou was undergoing chemotherapy.
In the latest social media post, a “Happy Birthday” banner was displayed above a hospital bed.
The pictures showed the mom of four reading children’s books about the illness to her daughter, including one titled Princess Lily and the Hair Fairy.
The photo series concluded with some family snapshots featuring Whimsy.
One picture depicted Nara cuddling her daughter, while another showed her with Whimsy’s 9-month-old sister, Fawnie Golden.
Lucky, Smith’s husband, also appeared in the photos, shown in the hospital setting.
In the caption, the 24-year-old wrote: “little warrior girl [pink bow emoji]
“sharing something this vulnerable wasn’t an easy decision but seeing every message, prayer, story of a similar experience and kindness has made it a little easier.
“To every family or parent walking through something heavy right now, we’re thinking of you too [white heart emoji].”
Again, the comments section was filled with supportive messages for the family.
“Sending you so much love and support,” remarked one commenter, while another added: “Sending you all so much love. You’ve got this sweet girl.”
A third comment noted: “It won’t feel this heavy forever. wish your beautiful girl a full recovery. it will get better.”
Nara and Lucky are parents to Rumble Honey, five, Slim Easy, four, and Fawnie Golden, 9 months.
The couple welcomed their fourth child, Fawnie Golden, on Sept 27, 2025, around the same time they received the heartbreaking news.
